In partnership with Clever Never Goes, ACS is kicking off Winter 2019 with an awareness campaign to ensure all school pupils are kept safe both outside of school and whilst spending time at home and in the classroom too.
As a qualified Gas Safe company, we encounter badly fitted and faulty gas work across many schools and facilities across London and the South East of England which can lead to serious consequences and if left untreated, fatalities. According to the Gas Safe Charity, every year, poor gas work and faulty or old appliances cause accidental death. What's more, over 4,000 people also attend Accident and Emergency (A&E), due to Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning. Do you know the signs and symptoms?
To help combat these figures, spread awareness and raise importance to the younger generation of today, ACS is delivering useful and fun information to teachers and parents which can be used as part of your school’s Safety Week to ensure that your pupils stay gas safe in their homes.
The main outcome is that a short interactive assembly is given to pupils outlining all the key points, and ACS’s Gas Safe Team will attend to provide answers to teachers and any parents who may be interested in gaining any additional information regarding Gas Safety.
